Diane von Fürstenberg founded the DVF Awards and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation
2010. The DVF Awards recognizes and supports ‘Extraordinary’ women who display tremendous leadership to inspire through courage, strength, and power to survive, focusing on women’s causes.
The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation grants $50,000 to each honoree to further develop their non-profit organization.
On April 8, 2017, the 8th Annual DVF Awards was held at the United Nations in New York.
